This project has touched on the social impact of new energy infrastructures and evolving energy landscapes including in relationships with ‘old’ energy landscapes that can have social and economic impact on communities. Our increasing demand for electricity and the need for the development of energy, has and will continue to give rise to new energy landscapes. While energy sources and technologies change rapidly, the transformation of Wales energy landscapes reminds us of the consequences of energy development, both in the past and present.
